There have been owner complaints about the Marriott Maui Ocean Club timeshares. Although the complaints are not grave, they exist and generate bad press about this timeshare resort. The owner complaints are directed mainly at the size of the rooms, which are not as big as normal condo suites at most other timeshare resorts. The reason for this relates to the fact that some rooms on the property are just converted hotel rooms instead of true condo suites.
