The resort is great. AFTER WE STAYED HERE IN YEAR 2000, WE BOUGHT ONE BEDROOM VACATION CLUB. NOW We have one BIG ISSUE with Melia Vacation Club. Our home resore is one bedroom unit at Paradisus Playa Conchal Costa Rica, with 30 years contract. However, after our second trip , WHICH WAS OUR FIRST TIME WE USE OUR VACATION CLUB, we can never find any one bedroom vacancy in this resort. We have two children 17 and 14 years old now. Every year we tried to book an one bedroom unit and was told there was nothing available year around. the only availability is studio, which is one hotel room. We have to pay extra to get second room FOR OUR CHILDREN if we need. The reason we got one bedroom unit at year 2000 is for family vacation. Now we have to pay extra, it is a horrible steal. On top of it, we have to use it or lose it. which means we have to pay maintenance fee every year, regardless they don't have anything available for us. Something need be done to prevent this contract bleaching to other people. MY ADVICE TO YOU, MAKE SURE YOU WILL GET WHAT THEY PROMISE YOU WHEN YOU BUY VACATION CLUB AT THIS RESORT.
