DON'T buy or stay here!!! What a rip-off!!! We purchased and were lied to so many times, there's not space enough to write! Don't know how old this picture is, but sure doesn't look like this now. We were told when we purchased in 2008 that they were renovating and all the old hotel except for one area would be torn down. All of that area had already been remodeled and this is what we were shown. We purchased a 1 BDRM unit in the new tower. Imagine our surprise, dismay and disapointment when we traveled here 2 1/2 years later and were put into a studio in the OLDEST part of the hotel. We barely had room to walk around the bed. My daughter and her husband had met us here to spend the weekend. What a disaster that was! When they opened the sleeper it touched the wall at the end of the bed. When we had to go to the bathroom during the night, we had to crawl across their bed. I had planned on cooking during our stay and brought food from home. ANOTHER disapointment, we only had 2 burners and a fridge like a camper would have. Had to leave my food in my cooler and store that in the bathroom. Had to make daily trips to the store to buy ice because none of the ice makers in the hotel worked. NO Kitchen table, so we had to eat on the 3' x 6' "balcony. Sure hope I can find a sucker to exchange with this year! I've had to join Interval because I sure don't want to stay here again. -Review courtesy of Joy Sharpe (stayed during Oct, 2010) |
