The Gardens is one of the best resorts I have stayed. Its amenities are as good as any of the Hiltons. Though located not on the most tourist area, it is easy and fast to get to the Disney parks because most of the driving is on I-4 which I found always runs very smoothly. The resort is located in front of a
beautiful lake. We stayed 2 weeks there. Both its 1 br (900 sp ft) and 2 br (1400 sq ft) units have Jacuzzi tubs. Sitting in front of the large windows overlooking the lake in a spacious living room, one really feels the luxury of a gold crown resort. The resort splurges on 42 inch LCD TV, marble counter
tops, wooden window blinds, and, its 2 br unit’s master bath is as big as a bedroom with a 2 people tub. The high speed internet is in each unit and it is free. What makes the resort most impressive is the service quality. They would take you to your room upon check in; all faxes are personally delivered to you; if you need to check in early, they’d accommodate that. I had to stay in Orlando one more week so I requested RCI to fax my next resort confirmation to the Garden’s office. I was very impressed when I opened the fax, there was a printed Mapquest direction to the new resort attached--the
manager Tim went online and printed the direction for me. That’s what I call the customer service of excellence! They are thoughtful as one can be. Big thanks the employees of the Gardens. I think the manager Tim has done a great job. Our entire family enjoyed our stay there and looking forward to come back.

" Urm ok not sure if we are talking about the SAME gardens resort but there ARE no amenitires.!! the building is there but its in the middle of a construction site !!! the location on on what the locals call hookers row. with prostitutes and hookers hanging on the street corner. this was NOT as billed. the units are nice in side but a view of rubble and dirt. the "pool" well thats at a motel down the street. sure they will offer to bus you down there past the hookers and stuff but its not exactly the resort they promise. -Review courtesy of zac adams (stayed during Jun, 2006) |

First off, it's a GAY resort... if you deal with RCI, their listing is very clear. So be prepared.
Secondly, it's new and it's beautiful. The setting overlooking the lake is fantastic and the amenities are first class.
Third, I am impressed with the new management... they seem intent on making your stay exceptional.
Fourth, I am disappointed that the project is stuck on the first phase. The full build out with several buildings, lounge, and big pool now seems to have gone away, and that is a big disappointment.

NOT AS BILLED !!! I wish i had seen this site before. the reviewer who gate this 5 stars obviously works for them, 99% of that they say isn't there. it is still under construction , majorly The gardens resort in Orlando is currently nothing more than a construction site, covered in weeds and grass its been untouched in so long. the 1st building is there but that's all no pool, no fitness center, restaurants and its in the shadyest part of town I have ever seen, The gardens orlando has a long way to go and a lot of work needed. I wish i could post actual pictures here of what you see when you look out the window. This is the second year that I have gone to the Gardens. It is what it is! Fabulous accomodations in Phase 1 of a planned resort. With these tough economic times and home and timeshare sales on the downswing, this organization has done the best they can do with the one building that is up. They have a customer service that is unparralled, YES, there are no amenities and they have a lot of work to finish the projec. But I must say that taking all of that into consideration,and that we are in fact minutes away from Disney and a stroll away from one of the best Gay clubs in orlando, it isn't bad at all. I enjoy the craziness of the Parliament House and the fact that I can walk back to my top of the line accomodations. Do i want the rest sure, but good things come in good time. I wouldn't let those detail ruin my vacation. I had a great time and will go back next GAY DAYS, complete or not. -Review courtesy of Milton (stayed during Jul, 2008) |
