We stayed for five nights at Hilton Head Island. Island Links is within Port Royal Plantation and gets privledges from the Westin Hotel which is on the beach. Our stay included free golf, free tennis, and various pools and spas. Our beach access was about a half mile walk or bike ride to the Westin Hotel. We recommend renting a bicycle for your stay. The bike rides on the beach were great. The many restaurants and seafood stands are delicious. We recommend Barnicle Bills for a seafood stand. It has been at its location for more than twenty years. Island Links provides gas grills for the outdoor chefs. Will go again and maybe next year. Savannah is only a 45 minute drive and you have to eat at The Lady and Sons, Paula Dean's restaurant. -Review courtesy of Bohdan Gudz (stayed during Jun, 2007) |
