Holly Tree was comfortable, bathrooms (2) were clean and bright. However, towels were rough. Living Room sofa was pretty & comfortable. TVs were fine. Bed was comfortable, and linens soft. Unit did need to be updated....furniture & paint was dark, needed 'brighter' furniture and paint to accomplish a seaside look. Had an oversized table & 4 chairs crammed in when a smaller, round table would have been much more appropriate. It felt like they may have just had that one handy and stuck it in there. Housekeeping was excellent. Lady at front desk when we checked in was very brisk, not so helpful when we asked questions, didn't make you feel welcome. Others working desk seemed OK. Overall, though, Cape Cod was a lovely spot and the unit worked out for us. -Review courtesy of Eileen Hitchcock (stayed during Sep, 2009) |
