We were not pleased with our accomodations at Palace View! We stayed in 513A and the walls were paper thin-you could hear a normal conversation next door and you could hear every door in the building shut. The decor was outdated(we usually stay at the SilverLeaf Holiday Hills Resort)-there was no jacuzzi tub, no patio for us, no washer and dryer, and definitely no Palace View! The only view we had from our old sunken bed was the view of all the pretty air conditioning units. On the other hand, the grounds were very clean and nice. Of course, they did want to try and sell us one of their new units, with the palace view, big, spacious, beautifully decorated with a jacuzzi tub in every room, and might I say, virtually sound proof, but we declined. If you do stay there, make sure you find out if you're going to be staying in one of the older units near the clubhouse or if you will be in one of the new units. I really don't see how this place could be a 5star gold crown resort when we've stayed at much nicer places that don't charge for linen exchange...as I told the rep there: it was just a step above a hotel room-and he agreed-unless of course you get to stay in one of the new buildings, oh yeah, and it was always hard to find a parking space-no parking space was close. -Review courtesy of Maria (stayed during Aug, 2008) |

LOVED IT!! The staff is VERY friendly and they are more than accomadating to your needs! If we had a problem we called the front desk and they had it fixed within min. The older buldings are the best to stay in because they are closer to the pool and clubhouse! We bought and are now proud owners of a 2 bedroom lockout every year!
