We spent our second week in Hawaii at the Gardens of West Maui.
Our first week we sailed on the Pride Of Aloha which was great!
One thing- the roosters, they woke us up each morning sometimes extremely early and on one day so early I moved to the living room to sleep.
I think overall, the Gardens of West Maui is more like a condo vs a resort. The office is often absent, which was just fine for me, when we are on vacation the last thing we want is a hard sell for another timeshare. The unit overall was clean, well stock and had everything available. The pool was very nice and we were often the only couple using the pool and hot tub. The beaches across the street from the Gardens of West Maui were spectacular and it was a few min walk to get there which was no big deal.
Would I stay here again? Probably yes, the rooster are all over Hawaii and that gave us a better perspective of the culture of the island. The Gardens of West Maui have more pros than cons.

A wonderful experience. We stayed in 309. The facilities were great and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Yes there were roosters next door, but they were no problem. (Take ear plugs if you are bothered) A beautiful beach about a 3 minute walk away with swimming and snorkeling (fish and turtles). Would we stay here again? Yes, in a heart beat!
