We had a wonderful experience at Sand Pebble Beach Resort. Fortunately we live within a 2 hour distance so I'm already wanting to go back. The room was very NICE and CLEAN. Came equipped with a full kitchen including a dishwasher. If you wanted to make a huge family dinner you certainly could. There was all kinds of bakeware/mixer available. Not that you would want to, but its all there. We had 2 entrances to the balcony. One from the livingroom area and one from the bedroom. The bathroom was very spacious as it had a vanity with 2 sinks. There was a TV/VCR in the livingroom and then a TV in the bedroom. The couch in the livingroom was very comfortable. In fact, I fell asleep on it a couple of nights. Didn't even bother pulling it out. As for the bedroom, we had a very nice room. We had a most excellent visit from November 19 to 26,2005.
Our one bedroom unit was well equipped in every respect. The two walk outs( From the living room and bedroom) to a very private balcony was a great feature. We had many Breakfasts there and enjoyed the terrific view of the beach and ocean
The Poolside is Excellent.....Lots of furniture, Good Pool, Kiddie Pool and Hot Tub. Also Gas Barbeques.
The beach is first rate and an easy walk to Johs Pass.
Staff is friendly and helpful..
Only Negative Feature: The Matress in the main bedroom is FAR TOO HARD..... It is like a slab of concrete.

This is such a friendly place. The staff tries its best to help you and the other guests are very friendly. Many of them have been coming here for many years. The place was very clean. The second bedroom, which is small in so many places, was large with two double beds. There was a king size bed in the master suite and even more closet space than I have at home-a regular closet plus a walk in closet and double sinks. Very nice. You go down the elevator and you are at the pool and spa. It is on the beach, not across the street as so many resorts are. The prices are quite reasonable and we plan to go again. It is a ten minute walk to John's Pass with its stores, restaurants and boats and a block away from the Suncoast bus that goes up and down the island.
