The resort has a great location right on the beach! It's furnishings are a little outdated but it was built during the Art Deco period and everything appeared to have been remodeled and maintained. Some of the carpet at the resort is a little well-worn but acceptable. The staff is reasonably curtious and friendly. The throw a great outdoor "Welcome BBQ". The pool is very nice, small but still quaint and clean. The rooms are actually pretty large--I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. The rooms were clean! No bugs of any kind! The kitchen was fully stocked w/the cooking/eating essentials. The air conditioning worked perfectly and there wasn't any load noise from the party goers. The only drawback is the parking. You have to park in the municipal lot next to the hotel for about $6.00/day, which isn't bad except that several cars had been broken into during our stay. The glass was never cleaned up in the lot (not the hotels responsibility--that falls on the police dept.) However, the resort security did keep an eye on the parking lot while outside on patrol so that helped ease any worries! I would definetly recommend this resort!
