We had four adults (2 married couples) and we stayed in Spruce1 at the Auchrannie Resort from August 18th through August 25th and truely enjoyed all aspects of the resort. The different types of restaurants really meet the needs of all types. We were visiting the Isle of Arran for the first time and it was a splendid vacation for the four of us. We are from America and found the entire island, resort, and the location of the resort in a very excessible area. We could walik into Brodick within five or ten minutes. The staff was super friendly and very accomodating. Our view from the living room (second floor) and the balcony was superb (highlands and heather in bloom). I would suggest requesting this unit (Spruce 1) as I believe it is the best unit of all the cottages at Auchrannie. It is not the newest but has large rooms and provides extra seclusion from the bulk of the cottages.
