The unit appeared to be a motel room divided up into a cramped and uninviting accomodation. There was barely enough room in which to move around. The bed was small, with just enough room for my wife and I, and we are not physically big people. There view from our unit was unattractive. Whatever the amenities, they were "not available" . The office closed at 5PM. There were nails sticking up on several of the steps leading up to the level we were on which, after being reported, were not attended to for two days. Usage of the TV required playing with the remotes until the right combination was accidentally found. The whole "resort" is unattractive. In addition to everything else, I resent being disturbed early every morning by the drive through takeout window of the restaurant next door,which I think is owned by the owners of the "resort" . Calling this place a "resort" is a misuse of the word.
I feel that we were cheated by the pictures in the catalog. I feel that when I consider the difference between the timeshare unit weeks that I exchanged and this unattractive and dismal place that I was cheated. -Review courtesy of Patrick E Mckenna JR (stayed during Jun, 2008) |
