Our family stayed in one of the Lodge units. The unit itself was average, at best, and dated. However, the amenities available to the kids exceeded expectations and outweighed the Lodge unit. Basketball, tennis and sand volleyball courts, putt putt course, pools, a playground for the little ones. The main pool has a separate pool for the toddlers. The Activity Outpost has a video game arcade and a movie room. We also spent one day at the indoor water park on the property. The kids (ages 4 to 14) had a great time at the resort using all the amenities available to them. We were going to spend one afternoon renting a boat and a tube at the marina, but were told the pontoon boats didn't go fast enough to pull a tube, so they referred us to a local resident that took us all out on the lake to tube and knee board. He was friendly, helped the kids learn how to knee board. His cost was a bit more than the marina would have charged for the pontoon boat, but was worth it. Again, the kids had a blast. I would recommend the resort to anyone with kids. -Review courtesy of Phillip (stayed during Jul, 2009) |
