Very nice resort. Sits right next to the Pelican so you can take advantage of their deli/store, casino and their swim up pool bar that is shallow enough at one end for small children. The beach is flanged by breaker walls so that waves aren't an issue. Location is great and the staff was as good and friendly as any I've stayed at on the island. I just returned on 7/7/07 and I tell you this is really a great place if you are a nice and clean person yourself.
Rooms
The rooms are are filled with a updated mordern spacious style, more than you really need.
Beach
The beach is just the right size to accommodate the guest and the water is like PARADISE.
Pool
The pool was like bath water with a nice view of the ocean.
BAR/Grill (Palapa) Awesome omletes

This was our first time to the Caribbean. We hit the jackpot on this trip. The best part was the property's beach front that is set up to include some snorkeling and some real down time with a loved one. There is also a great pool that for those who like fresh water in the islands while on vacation. What an awe-inspiring time at the Sunterra Flamingo.
The experience was such that Sint Maarten will be on our trip list during the next nine months. Thanks to Harold, Decima, Deroni and the restaurant staff! We do plan on purchasing a timeshare at the Flamingo Beach Resort. We found our experience to be a worth the investment and time.
We found had a good mix of families, couples, and people from all around the world.
The Flamingo staff is friendly; they have their own Caribbean style! We did however find one should practice the “Four Agreements faithfully” Be impeccable with your words, don’t take it personal, don’t assume, but at all time do your best to have a wonderful time). The staff is working for our enjoyment.
Our studio room was the boom. Looking directly out into Simpson Bay, on the beach, yes mon!
The Flamingo is very comfortable, quite, family like and they do try to be flexible. We prefer the home-like feel. As we have been to other resorts with out this kinf=d of feel, and appeal.
We have recommended the Flamingo to my closet friend. They are planning to visit in the near future.
