Stayed in Garden Lago in July 2006 this year with my husband, daughter son in law and 9 month old baby. We had previously emailed ahead to request a cot but when we arrived they had to go and look for one for us, when it arrived it did not have a mattress, we complained and it still had not arrived when we were leaving. We thankfully gave my daughter and family the bedroom with the air-conditioning and my husband and I had the room without aircon, in this room we had mosquito bites every night even though we bought plug ins. We could not use the balcony which overlooked the pool as the unit for the air conditioining was located there and it generated so much heat that it was overpowering. The Garden Lago was very much in need of refurbishment as it was rather frayed around the edges, although in its favour it was in a nice location overlooking the lagoon (full of mosquitos though).
