What a gem of a resort! The staff at Bakubung really know how to make you feel welcome and special. My family have owned timeshare at the resort for many years now, but I have also had the priviledge of staying at the hotel. Every time I visit Bakubung the service is outstanding, the chalets and rooms immaculate and clean, the facilities well maintained and the food and beverages fantastic if not a little expensive for the average South African. The fact that it is situated just outside the marvellous Pilanesberg National Park (Big 5) and the excitement of Sun City (golf, casino and Valley of the Waves) is an absolute bonus. Only two hours from Johannesburg, it also doesn't feel like a burden travelling to the resort. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. -Review courtesy of Gareth Dry (stayed during Sep, 2007) |
