1 week stay. Gave us wrong room at 2 am. Woke us up at 6 am to let us know we had the wrong room and needed to vacate and move rooms, the room we vacated was never used in the whole week. For breakfast we waited a half hour for them to find a´mozo to wait on us, never found him, eggs got cold. No bar service, no happy hour. Place gets full on sat and sun with promotrions and events that occupy the pool area. One hour ride from the city, taxi costs 40 soles one way. Being a timeshare owner with interval international, this has to be the most horrible resort we had ever stayed at. First of all, all of the information on the website is wrong. (phone numbers and mis-leading information stating that the resort is 25 miles from the airport. It is 1.5 hours away!!!! We finally pull up to the resort, and security with two dogs way up like we were doing something wrong. He started asking us all of these questions, like we were not suppose to be there. We then finally get access to the front desk, and noticed that there we not one person at the resort or at the front desk. When we finally got a hold of the receptionist, she was very rude. We were told that they did not have any larger rooms available at the resort, except for the presidential suite. But she said we could not stay in the suite unless we made reservations. After 1 hour, she granted us the stay in the presidential suite with an extra fee per night. Once we arrive in the suite, the refrigerator was not working, the walls look like they haven't been painted in years, and the furniture was a complete disaster. After such a long drive, we go to take a shower and there was no water, they turned the water off!!!!!!! We waited 30 min. for the water to be turned back on. We then go to the restaurant and there is no one single person in sight. Where are the people and staff?????? Since they said that the resort was booked, we were the only people there. We finally get greeted by a server, very nice guy!!! The tables we not set and the chairs were turned over the tables like it was closed down. We order one plate and it takes one hour for it to be ready!!! Still no people!!!!!! We ate our food, and dcide to go back to the presidential suite and try to give me daughter a bath, and NO WATER!!!!! They turned it off again. We waited another 30 min. for the water to be turned on!!! Still no people. We complained about the refrigerator, and security came, said she waould come back and fix it , but never came back!!!!! The next day we decide to go to the pool and it looked like it has never been cleaned and it was also freezing. Still no people!!!!! There was a restaurant by the pool that looked like it was closed down as well. There was no bartender, nothing!!!! Then security comes up to us and says that we have to move our car. It was not blocking anyone, they just had nothing to do. So we moved the car. We go back to the room to cook and NO WATER!!!! They turned it off again. We said forget it, checked out of the resort and would never ever go back there again!!!!! If you are an interval owner, this is definely not an even exchange for your money. Do not ever go there, I certainly will not. You will be really upset by the time you leave. We paid all of this money and checked out early.
