This is a beautiful resort in the heart of the Drakensberg Mountains. My wife and I had a wonderful stay here in January 2006. We found the staff to be friendly and willing to help, the facilities well maintained and the activities varied and fun. I highly recommend a horse ride and lots and lots of walks. Best of all was lazing by and swimming in the river. There are also a few golf courses around that vary in their quality including a rather shabby chip and putt course on the grounds. The units were clean and had everything we needed. The only small gripe that I have is that we had a downstairs unit and were constantly disturbed by our neighbours either above us or to the side of us. I would suggest getting a chalet if you are going the self-catering route. They are quieter and more private.
