What a wonderful place! We bought one week in 2003 sight unseen. When we arrived there with my family, we literally stood there with our mouths open. Everything was beyond clean and spotless. the employees were very curtious. the views from the room were beautiful. there really is such a thing as purple mountains. this place is not bad but not jaw-dropping great either...did not appreciate all of the construction going on constantly or the seedy looking "non-citizen" construction workers all over the place. did not appreciate them ogling my wife and 2 young daughters as well, this construction is supposed to go on for the next 3 years or so? not very conducive to a decent vacation in my opinion--too much dust, noise, areas looking poorly, etc. overall, average rating due to average location, average amenities..rather be back in oahu for a well-deserved vacation. -Review courtesy of ben s (stayed during Oct, 2008) |
