While staying at Luperon Beach Resort in the Dominican Republic, we bought a vacation ownership package of 50 weeks. The following year, we used some of our weeks trough RCI and in January 2005 went to the Hilton on Flamingo in Vegas. Our two bedroom unit was wonderful and very comfortable, and the location couldnīt be better. For a whole week on that nice hotel we only paid $249, that is our $100 maintenance fee plus $149 charged by RCI for the reservation. I couldnīt believe my good luck! We just came back from Casa Maya in Cancun, Mexico where we stay for two weeks. We are very happy with the decition we took to purchase in Luperon and we have realised that the price we paid for our 50 weeks seems like pennies when compared to the prices both in Mexico. Thanks to my sales representative for making me join the club when we did.

I just returned from Luperon Beach Resort with my friend who is an RCI member. The beach is beautiful and the food is good but the facility needs work. I found a huge cockroach in my tennis sneaker while there and another couple changed rooms because of cockroaches and water coming into their room from the room above. My friend had a big spider in her room. And the last weekend we were there, there were feces on every toilet seat in the bathrooms next to the center pool all weekend. No one cleaned.
