Wimpen Sueño Azul (RCI No 1856) is nicely situated on the sunny west coast of Tenerife, about eight miles from Playa de las Americas and 20 minutes from the picturesque town of Los Gigantes. A self-contained village style resort, Sueño Azul is an ideal place for relaxation and enjoyment and provides an excellent base for a good family holiday.
The accommodation consists of nicely furnished detached individual villas, of which there are a total of 33 on the complex. Each villa sleeps up to six persons. With large lounge, patio – one double bedroom, en-suite, one twin bedroom, one twin room (bunk beds) with shower/wc – fully fitted kitchen and washing machine. The villas have a good range of facilities including satellite television and barbecue sets on the terrace. Or if you prefer to eat out there’s a wide choice of bars and restaurants within walking distance at the nearby village of Callao Salvaje, where there are also supermarkets and shops.
The resort has a heated swimming pool/childrens pool and play area, snack bar/restaurant and there is also a baby sitting service. I have owned 2 weeks at Sueno Azul for almost 15 years and have had many great holidays there during this time. The staff are always very helpful and courteous and they will do their utmost to ensure that you have a good holiday at this small quiet and friendly resort. Really friendly resort. Only 30 detached villas with patios and small gardens. Great poolside bar for day or night. Excellent resort and bar staff. . . . just a suberb place to holiday . . . . can't wait for the next time! ! ! -Review courtesy of wbevan (stayed during Jan, 1998) |
