The Grand Mayan is now available in Nuevo Vallarta (near Puerto Vallarta), Cabo, Acapulco, Riviera Maya (Cancun), ,and Puerto Penasco (Sea of Cortez). The Buenos Aires Grand Mayan is scheduled to open in 2008. These condos are all ocean front with a gold crown rating, the highest rating. Another option in this package is the Sea Garden in Mazatlan (see information below).

The Grand Mayan units are new (or frequently updated), very spacious and beautiful with 1250 sq. feet in the grand master two-bedroom suite. The two-bedroom can accommodate up to 8 and includes a kitchen, 2 baths with Jacuzzis, a nice living area and a wading pool on the large balconies with an incredible view. Other accommodation options include the one-bedroom suite, a one-bedroom unit or the two-bedroom in Mazatlan. Check-in is available Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

The resorts all include great facilities. Their swimming is one of the largest pools in Latin America, plus now wave pool at NV. For those who enjoy golf they have Jack Nicolas designed 18-hole courses. I love their gyms with several aerobic and weight training options, plus spa and Jacuzzis all included. Tennis and kayaking are also available at some resorts. The resort has on location a beauty parlor, massage and beauty treatments, several restaurant and eating facilities, plus entertainment and dancing.

Sea Garden 2 Bedroom $550 (this unit is in Mazatlan - definitely not the Grand Mayan, but adequate accommodations for the price). These are small units, hence I would recommend only four per unit and preferably a family with small children.
