Resort Description:
Resort is located at the south end of Playa Hermosa, the best part of the beach in Ixtapa: sandy, flat and safe. The resort consists of many multiple condo buildings sited on the side of a hill such that the views of the beach, ocean and sunsets are magnificent. There are two large pools at the beach plus other smaller pools around the resort. There are 3 restaurants with bars at the resort, one (El Faro) with the best views in Ixtapa. There are palapas for relaxing on the beach and loungers around the pool. There is a mini-market on site and shopping nearby in Ixtapa or Zihuatenejo. Unit Description:
The condo is located in the Pacifica Sands Plus building close to the beach. It is a 1 bedroom condo on the 4th floor in a building with an elevator. Guests have use of a large pool next to the building. Two other pools are at the beach. The bedroom contains a king size bed and there is daily maid service. There are two other double beds in the living area that double as sofas (but not the fold out type). The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a sink outside the bathroom. The kitchen is large and well equipped with a 4 burner stove top and a full size fridge. Utensils and dishes are for 6. The furniture is comfortable and there are two large screen TVs. The terrace is large and contains a jacuzzi pool. The views from the terrace are sweeping ocean and beach views looking west so the sunsets can be magnificent. The unit is large and comfortable; it could sleep 6 but 2 or 4 are is perfect.

Nearby Attractions:
Pacifica Resort is located in Ixtapa one of the planned resort communities built by the Mexican Government. But this is the one they did right - unlike Cancun, the number of resort is limited to 10 and there are many private condominium buildings that are not over crowded. Ixtapa contains a large shopping area with a wide variety of stores and excellent restaurants. There are two golf courses, a water park and several other attractions as well as night clubs. Local buses can take you to Zihuatenejo, once a sleepy fishing town but now a resort destination itself. Here one can experience a true Mexican atmosphere with a public market, many fine restaurants and numerous stores selling Mexican goods. There are several beaches in Zihuatenejo and one can rent boats for fishing or sailing.

Pacifica Resort has 3 restaurants: one at the beach, one next to the condo and one on the top of the hill with the best views in Ixtapa. Fresh fish and a variety of Mexican dishes are specialities. In Ixtapa and Zihuatenejo there are many fine restaurants offering a variety of cuisines and at a variety of prices. There are no MacDonalds in either town.
