Resort Description:
I have used my timeshare every year since 1984. Unfortunatley, since I retired I have been teaching and cannot get this week off this year. I love the proximity to the beach and the City of Sarasota nearby. Sarsota is a very cosmopolitan city with a great variety of the arts and an abundace of terrific restaurants and golf courses.

Unit Description:
This unit is on the second floor of a two story building. It has windows from which you can view the Gulf from small angle. It is fully furnished. Queen size bed in the bedroom and two Murphy beds in the living room. This building had only six units while the building on the other side of the street has 20 units. The pool is heated year round. The sunsets from the Gulfside (your side) are spectacula. Laso fun to wathc the pelicans searching and then diving for fish. You can walk to the shopping center although i usualy take one fo the bicycles.

Nearby Attractions:
Longboat Key is a very private, quiet and non-commercial Island. It is about 5 mile to the mainland, through Saint Armands shipping circle and over the sarasota bridge (finally got rid of the drawbridge). Plenty of great golf courses within a few miles of town and the Ringling art musuen is fabulous. Many great restaurants and watering holes right on Lonkboat key as well as in town.

Nearby Restaurants:
Best retaurant on the island is Euphinia Haye if you an afford it. Many other five star restaurants on the Key. And a pie of top notch restaurants on St Armands circle. You've never tasted anythig as good as the Macadamia encrusted grouper with a mango salsa served at the Banana Cabana about 4 miles up the key.
