Presidential Resort at Chancellorsville - Timeshare Rental and Resale

General Description:
This resort is close to historic places and shopping malls. A large mall is the Spotsylvania Shopping Mall, which is located just a few minutes from the resort. Those interested in history may enjoy exploring the Chancellorsville Battlefield, which lies directly opposite the camp ground.

Resort Description:
Interesting features include pageants, car shows, games for children, camp fires, arts and crafts activities, BBQ's, theatrical plays, fairs, live musical performances, tours, picnics, and many more. Activity sheets are available in the club house. Members may swim in the lake or use one of the swimming pools: the Wilderness Pool, the Paulson Indoor Pool, and the Presidential Pool. Life guards are on duty. Adult swim is 15 minutes before the top of the hour. For those who would like to venture out onto the lake marina rentals are available at reasonable prices.

Unit Description:
There are several different units available. At certain times, members may rent a log cabin with modern amenities. Lake-view trailers of different sizes are usually available. Even smaller ones are surprisingly spacious and contain modern appliances.

Nearby Attractions:
Nearby attractions include the Virginia Renaissance Faire at Lake Anna Winery, living history at Chatham, which Union forces used as a headquarters, hospital, and communications center during the Civil War. Members may be interested in taking trips to the historic Kemnore Plantation in Fredericksburg or to the Potomac Point Winery in Stafford. Other activites that can be enjoyed include concerts with diverse music and hilarious and sometimes raucous theater performances. An example is the Fredericksburg Company which specializes in Shakespeare plays. Picnics at near-by Hurkamp Park are very popular.
