Lake Tahoe in the summer is the best time to visit. Great weather is typical every day with daytime temperatures in the 80s and nighttime temps in the 60s and 70s. Lots of places to visit and things to do.

Heavenly Village is immediately adjacent to the property so there are some great restaurants just outside the front door. Also the nearby casinos have some excellent dining options.
