Avalon Resort - Timeshare Rental and Resale

General Description:
Avalon is a smalll, family resort across the street from the beach in a very quite area. You are just a few steps from the beach and can enjoy the view from the unit balcony. A unique feature about Deerfield Beach is the boardwalk and park like setting before the boardwalk and sandy beach. It is a quiet beach with friendly people who seem to vacation there annually and know one another. The nearest airport is Ft Lauderdale.

Resort Description:
When my husband and I visited Deerfield Beach in week 13 the weather was perfect every single day. We visited enjoyed viewing the beautiful beach mansions in nearby Pompano Beach and shopping in Boca Raton. There was a Walmart nearby and grocery shopping. We hung out at the pool and shared it with two other families, while others were at the beach or shopping. Our unit has a king sized bed and plenty of storage space in an area between the kitchen and bathroom.

Outside there are picnic tables, grills for cooking and a putting green area for golfers.

Unit Description:
This unit is on the second floor and there is an elevator. There is a balcony with table and two chairs. Inside there is a living room with a pull out sofa and love seat, tables, lamps,TV, etc. There is also a chest of drawers or dresser like piece of furniture with extra linens inside. In the kitchen there is a small table and two or three chairs, a microwave, stove, sink, cabinets with adequate dishes, pots and pans, utensils and flatware, etc. In the bath room there is a shower/ tub, dressing table, large mirror, toilet, and window overlooking the green area of the resort.

Nearby Attractions:
There are a few neighborhood restaurants and pubs in walking distance Also, there are hotels with restaurants, but no high rises to block the views. Newspapers can be bought next to a hotel across the street from Avalon. Behind the resort are private homes. We walked through the neighborhood in the evenings and saw families sitting in their yards and on their porches. They nodded and spoke as we walked by. There was a great sense of community and welcome to visitors.

Nearby Restaurants:
For fancy restaurants we went into the neighboring cities like Pompano Beach and Boca Raton. There are so many places to choose from I don't have any in particular to recommend. I did enjoy the neighborhood pubs for sandwiches.
