The unit itself reflects the effort to return this resort to it's previous 'Gold Crown' rating...currently holding a second best 'RID' is not enough for the Bluegreen group and we couldn't be more pleased.

The +/- 1,200 SF third floor units are designed with a queen sized master and another queen size bed and sofa in the loft...A full kitchen, family room and 1 1/2 baths make this unit very comfortable for a family of four of any size...and if you have six with two little ones they could sleep on the pull out...sit on the balcony to enjoy the view of the Pacific...150 feet away....leave the doors open and listen to the waves lull you to peace.

the doors to enjoy the senses of smell and sight that this place offers every day...

AREA ATTRACTIONS

Kapaa said with the double 'ah ah' sound is the center of activity on the eastern shore...there are more restaurants and shops here than in any other area of the island...

One reason is that the beaches appear to be the widest, longest and most swimmable around...Lydgate State Park is within two miles of the resort and provides restrooms, picnic areas and a breakwater that will allow the smallest of snorkelers a chance to see life underwater...not to mention almost two miles of beach...

The public golf course Maikai is right next door to Lydgate and on the coast...we played Puakea with discounted tee times we got on Ebay...Princeville golf is way up there and these places are only a notch below in quality.

The best rated restaurant on Kauai is across the street 'A Pacific Cafe'...while in a modest shoping center...the food is outstanding and more moderate than the Marriott or Radisson...imagine what the prices would be if this place were on the Ocean.

For a very close oceanfront steakhouse, there is the 'Bull Shed'...strong drinks, great beef and a fine salad bar....
