**THE FLORIDA CLUB**

The Florida Club is a group of Marriott Resorts in Florida that when you own at one of these resorts, it is like owning at all of them. Marriott Legends Edge is a member of the Florida Club. The other Florida Club Resorts are Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando, Marriott Ocean Pointe in Palm Beach, Marriott Beach Place Towers in Ft. Lauderdale, and Marriott Villas at Doral in Miami.

When you make your annual reservation, you have a choice of reserving your week at the Marriott Legends Edge up to 1 year in advance. Or, you can choose to make your reservation at any of the other Florida Club Resorts up to 6 months in advance. There is no additional charge to make a reservation at any of the other Florida Club Resorts. You can either make the reservation yourself on the Marriott website or call Marriott Owner Services to do it for you. This is why Marriott says owning at one of the Florida Club Resorts is like owning at all of them. There are no exchange fees to pay. You will be able to reserve either a lock-off unit at any of the other Florida Club Resorts that have them or book a regular two bedroom condo. Then you can use one or both sides of the lock-off, or the regular two bedroom unit for exchanging through Interval International. If you choose, you can rent the unit you reserved at your home resort, in this case Marriott Legends Edge, or you can rent the unit you reserved at another Florida Club Resort.

So, basically anything you can do if you owned at the Marriott Ocean Pointe, Marriott Beach Place Towers, Marriott Grande Vista, or Marriott Villas at Doral, you can do by owning at the Marriott Legends Edge. The only difference is you can only make your reservation at another Florida Club resort that is not your home resort 6 months in advance.


**THE LOCK-OFF**

The Marriott Legends Edge doesn't have lock-off units. However, by using the Florida Club membership you can reserve a lock-off at the Marriott Grande Vista, Marriott Ocean Pointe or Marriott Beach Place Towers and use the lock-off for trading through Interval International. Or, use the lock-off to enjoy a two week vacation at the resort. Another option you have is you can rent both or just one side of the lock-off.


**PLATINUM SEASON WEEKS AT THE FLORIDA CLUB RESORTS**

1) Marriott Beach Place Towers Platinum weeks: 1 to 17, 22 to 34, 51, 52

2) Marriott Legends Edge Platinum weeks: 9 to 26, 29 to 44

3) Marriott Villas at Doral Platinum weeks: 1 to 18

4) Marriott Grande Vista Platinum weeks: 1 to 17, 22, to 34, 51, 52

5) Marriott Ocean Pointe Platinum weeks: 1 to 17, 51, 52

You can make your annual reservation at any of the above resorts during the weeks shown.


**MARRIOTT'S RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL**

Marriott has the right of first refusal on any resale. That means the sales contract will be sent to Marriott for review. Should they decide to purchase the week at our agreed to price you will receive a full refund. If they decide to waive their right to purchase, the sale will go through.


**CLOSING COST**

Your usage will start in 2010. However, you can make your reservation 1 year in advance. I use Timeshare Title Inc. to do the closing. The closing cost are as follows. $395 for the closing companies service + $120 Resort Transfer Fee
