Timeshare Owner's Description:

General Description:
Beachfront room in the heart of the strip at one of Mexico's most desirable destinations. Great pools, bars and restaurants on the water. Night club hosted trips from the resort to some of the best night life on earth! Have a siesta on the beach while the staff brings you your favorite food and tropical beverage or join in on beach or water volleyball. Take a free intro to scuba class in the pool or sign op to dive one of the most beautiful reefs and cenotes in the world. Travel less than an hour to see Mexico's Riviera Maya, Ruins, and Playa del Carmen where you can catch the ferry to Cosumel. This is a fantastic resort and has great service. Th e location is between Old Town and the Night Club district. You can party in the clubs but still sleep at night when you get back to your room. You can do all your gift shopping at the Old Town shoppes and not have to pay the tourist prices.

Resort Description:
The Hotel and resort are located on the Caribbean sea just about a mile from downtown Cancun and about 5 Blocks from the Night Club district. A large tile or marble lobby with tropical flavor leads past the reception desk and out to the pool areas. Inside the lobby is a sports bar where piano music or soft guitar plays at night. past the pool is the cabana where the concierge of PARTY hangs out! these guys were great at showing us around and helping us do all the fun stuff at the best prices. Next to that is a small snack bar (beach side) where you can get a cheese burger or something Mexican ( the burgers are great!) they will also crack open a fresh coconut and make you a drink. Off to your left about 100 feet is the main restaurant where you can have a romantic dinner by candlelight and listen to the waves a few feet away. (try the tortilla soup, and definitely go on bar-b que-night). next you have about 50' of white sand beach leading to the light blue waters of the Caribbean sea.

Unit Description:
The rooms all have ocean views. The last time we went we were right above the beach volleyball court and enjoyed watching the games. In the early morning a team of groundsmen work very hard at grooming the beaches washing the walkways, preparing the pools and watering the beautiful plants. The room is a full blown suite with a living room, kitchen, dining area and private bedroom. There are two satellite TV's with plenty of English programming. Dishes are all provided I think we even have a blender. There is a small convenience store in the lobby with stuff like cereal, eggs, butter and milk. If you really want to have fun go to the local grocery and buy some ingredients and make your own authentic Mexican food. The bedroom is like a typical hotel room with two queen sized beds, dressers, TV, a large closet and a balcony with a fantastic view. The bath is a full bath, and is all tile typical of a Caribbean resort. The living room has a sofa bed and one or two other comfortable chairs. There is also a trundle bed that folds out of the wall. They say sleeps four but this suite would sleep at least six. There is a dining set positioned so you can look out on the ocean as you have your breakfast. They have a fabulous room service menu.

Nearby Attractions:
Shopping at either high fashion stores from around the world or local merchants is at your fingertips. Sailing of fishing trips are available in walking distance or they will pick you up at the resort. Scuba diving is the best in the world. You can take a resort course and dive with a dive master or just catch a snorkeling trip to one of the local reefs. We chartered a boat for the day and had him drive us all around the Isla Mujeras ( the island of women) This island is where the Mayans hid the women from the Spanish invaders. There is a wealth of Mayan history that could occupy your entire trip. Ruins are all over the Yucatan peninsula and bus tours (luxury air conditioned or the local economy tour are both available) I recommend the luxury unless you speak real good Spanish. You can also rent a car ( I like jeeps) and go exploring on your own. (Pay attention to the signs I went down a one way street the wrong way and almost got a ticket) You have to go to Circus Circus. this is the most incredible nightclub you will ever see. The stage show is spectacular from acrobats and flying dancers to dancing on the bar.

Nearby Restaurants:
If you go in the off season (summer or February) the restaurants are eager to compete for your business and often offer specials. I always like to go to where the locals eat ( they are always less expensive but don't usually speak English). There is a fantastic place for breakfast just before you go in to downtown on your right. I don't know the name but they made a type of french toast and served fresh papaya and the best coffee and fresh squeezed OJ. Venture out into the countryside and try some of the beach front restaurants in the small towns or the Riviera Maya. There are lots of places to get great seafood but the best is at the fishing docks on the Isla Mujeres. They grill the freshest fish with a little lime and it is out of this world. The margaritas here are also probably the best in all of Mexico. I have been to both coasts and do speak with some authority. The most scenic dining is probably on the island of Cozumel. On the unpopulated side of the island there are alot of small beaches with little bar/grill places quite intimate and surreal.
