Fantastic buy! This is one of the only timeshares available in the Ottawa area. Only a short drive to town where shopping is available for souvenir, groceries, or whatever you seek. You can take the drive to see museums or Ottawa itself. Drive a little further and you reach the Quebec border - check out the Museum of Civilization. The maintenance fees are reasonable and in Canadian dollars, and the fees to convert ownership are really low!

Resort Description:
This resort is set in such a beautiful area. Nature's true majesty surrounds you and the tranquility of the lake is peaceful with ducks swimming right up and walking onto the beach - our kids loved to bring them bread! The saltwater pool is a major feature - gentle on the skin and eyes!

Unit Description:
The unit itself has a high-end cottage feel. Beautiful views and clean and well maintained! The added benefit of having a full kitchen certainly is a cost savings as well, as you can grocery shop and prepare your own meals if you choose. The fire place and balcony provide the added relaxation. The bedroom is very spacious; in fact, when our kids were younger, we would bring a blowup mattress for them and still had loads of room. The unit not only has a full kitchen, but it has a living room and separate dining area.

Nearby Attractions:
As I mentioned before it really is only a short drive if you want to do some shopping. There is a great camp in the town of Carp not far away (spy camp) held in the Diefenbunker - our kids enjoyed this camp and talked about it for months after using their secret codes that they learned. You can enjoy our nation's capital, or cross over the border into Quebec to enjoy some of that culture too.

The Resort site has a restaurant or you can head into town for a different fare. There's certainly options to choose from in the same areas that you might choose to shop. Or make a day of it when you head to Ottawa or Quebec and enjoy the array of restaurants there.
