Kuhio Banyan Club - Timeshare Rental and Resale

General Description:
This one bedroom unit is divisible into two studios, the rental rate requested is for each studio, both of which would have a comfortable murphy bed... That means it goes into the wall during the day.... Who was Murphy anyway? There is a small kitchen area with stovetop, frig, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and enough dinnerware for four.

Each 450 SF studio is about twice the size of a hotel room and has either a breakfast bar or a dinner table....Bathroom has a nice shower, but no bathtubs. The unit was quite clean... Traffic noise was not a problem. A/C worked great.

AREA ATTRACTIONS

Honolulu is both a relaxed resort center and a dynamic cosmopolitan city. At the Kuhio Banyan Club, you're surrounded by Honolulu's biggest and best attractions. World-famous Waikiki Beach is just two blocks away.

Right across the street is the International Market Place. The acclaimed Ala Wai Golf Course is close by, and Ala Wai Yacht Harbor is within a few minutes walk. Be sure to visit Diamond Head State Monument and take the half-mile hike to the rim of the extinct crater for a spectacular view of Honolulu.

For a small service charge of a few dollars per day, you can use beach mats, boogie boards, coolers, folding beach chairs, and make all local calls.

One of the best parts of the Kuhio Banyan Club was its LOCATION. In a safe area of Honolulu, near Waikiki Beach, on Kuhio Avenue, the island Bus stops directly in front of the hotel, and the shopping at the International Marketplace is across the street. Waikiki beach is two short blocks away, and if hunger pains grab you, there is a Subway and a Jack in the Box nearby, which are open till the wee hours.

There is a late nite club ‘Scruples’ and two other places, within a few blocks to dance the night away! Just show your room key for no cover charge. Everything is nearby, even a major Food Pantry supermarket is two blocks away.

The staff members are very friendly and pleased to help with directions to go somewhere or which bus to take etc...
They even let us use a room to shower on the day of departure since check out time is at 10AM and we had a late evening flight. They kept our baggage in a locked room, gave us a baggage claim ticket and brought them to the reception at the time of our airport departure.

I found that extra service to be very convenient. It allowed us extra time on Hawaii's best known beach. The Kuhio Banyan people made this a great week

In California, we have all heard of stories of North Shore surfing tragedies but I for one, didn't exactly know where it was happening...Well it is on Oahu and surfers from around the world come here in the Winter and try to kill themselves...Twenty five foot waves...What a way to die...

Definately requiring local knowledge these guys became a close knit community of people, who look out for each other...I liked that

The stories of "Jaws" and "Wall of War" are played out in real life...You can actually reach this spot by bus...just ask the people at the resort for the info...pick up the bus with your board in tow right outside the front door...

Send us a few pictures...from on the water...I can't seem to find many of those...HA..HA!
