The heart of this lovely 2,400-acre hideaway is Lake Lure, a postcard-perfect oasis where canoes and pontoon boats quietly glide across its still waters. Deer and other wildlife are as much at home here as our guests. In spite of such abundant tranquility, there is much to do.
