Resort Description:
Barrier Island Station is a beautiful Sound-to-Ocean Resort on the Northern Outer Banks located in Duck, North Carolina. The resort has an indoor pool complex with a large heated pool and hot tub, game room, exercise room, sauna and steam room, with restrooms and changing areas.

There is a gorgeous free-form outdoor pool with showers and a picnic area. The Snack Bar 'Quackers' is located on the walkway connecting the outdoor pool to the beach. At the beach is a gazebo overlooking the ocean. To assist with getting your beachgear to the beach or pools, a tram runs regularly in-season throughout the resort.

Across from the resort is the Sound where all kinds of water sports can be enjoyed; windsurfing, sailing and jet skiing. Duck has bike paths throughout the town.
