If you prefer, The Ridge is within an hour's drive of Six Flags Over Texas, The Ballpark at Arlington, Wet & Wild, and the Dallas Cowboys, not to mention all the other attractions the DFW metroplex offers. The resort also offers a beach area with boating facilities and a children's playground area. Adding a historical highlight to your vacation is the town of Granbury. Founded in the late 1800s, it is called" a living, working museum" and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Units are tastefully decorated, and offer a partial kitchen with microwave, maid service, air-conditioning, and a fireplace.
