Point at Poipu - Timeshare Rental

General Description:
Timeshare week rental, floating week (can be taken anytime in 2009) at The Point at Poipu on the beautiful garden island of Kauai Hawaii. The resort is on the southern part of the island, about a half-hour drive from Lihue airport (LIH).

There isn't a specific unit assigned, but it would be a garden view room, which may or may not include a view of the ocean, but last time I was there, the grounds were beautiful.

Resort Description:
There is also a path on the property to a volcanic rock outcropping that overlooks the ocean and is a wonderful place to see the sunrise.

Resort has pool, poolside bar, fitness center, snack bars, picnic area and lots of activities.

Unit Description:
These units sleep 6, has 2 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa
Amenities include
* Full kitchen (fridge, stove/oven, appliances, dishes, pans, etc.)
* Lanai/balcony (lovely place for breakfast)
* Washer/dryer
* Ensuite bath for master bedroom and second full bath
* Cable TV and DVD player
* midweek maid service

Resort has an activities department with lots to do.

Nearby Attractions:
Go to a Luau nearby.
Hiking, snorkeling, water sports, boat tours, helicopter rides, mountain biking (including biking down the mountain on the island), and much, much more.

Nearby Restaurants:
There is a shopping center nearby (Poipu Shopping Village) with several different restaurants.

There is a healthfood store in Kapa'a, about twenty minutes away and they serve some nice food there too.

The resort does have a snack bar for light fare.
