Location. The Pelican Resort Club is located on a private beach overlooking the crystalline splendor of the Caribbean in Philipsburg, St. Maarten. Divided between the Netherlands and France, the island is the smallest territory in the world shared by two sovereign states. Phillipsburg, the Dutch capital, curves along the Great Bay and features plenty of duty-free shopping, casinos and restaurants. Marigot, the French capital, is reminiscent of a quaint French village and boasts some of the best cuisine in the Caribbean with somewhat of a quieter setting than Phillipsburg.
Features. Two dining options are located on site, The Pelican Reef Steak and Seafood House which is positioned waterfront, and the Signature Restaurant which serves Caribbean and American cuisine. Barbeque grills are located on site. A business center is located on site and dial-up Internet access is available for a fee. The 24-hour front desk staff offers tour assistance and concierge services. A Vegas-style casino is located on the property, and there are five pools, four tennis courts and full-service health spa.
