General Description:
Morritt's is a beautiful beachfront resort on the quiet side of Grand Cayman Island. It has three beautiful pools - two with swim-up bars, one is an infinity pool. You can snorkle right off the beach as well as at many other great locations within short driving distance. There are great reatuarnats nearby and at the resort itself. There is a full program of activites right at the resort, including night entertainment. Excursions for snorkling trips by catamarin to Stingray City and the nearby reef, sunset cruises, etc can be purchased at Morritts. There is a dive shop on site and there is a dive boat which leaves from the Morritts dock. The resort has a great over the water bar and a beautiful beach, which is protected by an outer reef from large waves. Our favorite activites there are snorkling, the welcome party with live island music, rthe resort barbeque, water aerobics, relaxing at the over-the- water bar looking at the sparkling turquoise water, and enjoying island food at the local restaurants - especially their unique fish dishes. One week rentals can be scheduled to start on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Resort Description:
The view from the balcony is of palm trees on a tiny island in the middle of an enormous free form swimming pool. Morritt’s Tortuga Club and Resort is the original Morritt’s playground with not one, but two pools, six buildings and a variety of appealing floor plans. The big pool is the place to be for a relaxing lunch, an invigorating swim, and some of the hottest nighttime Caribbean entertainment on the island. Morritts has a health club with a view of the infinity pool and the Caribbean.

Unit Description:
We have a one bedroom poolside unit. The units are attractively furnished with a pull-out couch in the living room and other upholstered chairs. The bedroom has a full or queen-sized bed, closet, and dressers. There is a dining room table and a fully eqipped kitchen. One wall in each unit is all glass with a balcony with chairs and small tables that overlook beautifully landscaped pool areas. There are small bar B Que grills outside the building units. There is cable TV in each unit.

A resort right next door with beach bar, resaturant, entertainment, and shops, along with a liquor store.
Within a block is a convenience grocery store.

The city of Georgetown is a 30 minute drive.
Our resort has some of the best night life on the island.

Portofino's, Over The Edge and The Lighthouse are fine beach front restaurants located a few minutes drive from the resort. In addition Morritts has its own fine restaurant and food is served at the bar located over the water. These restaurants offer a variety of caribbean, french, italian cuisine.
