All-inclusive resort, see amenities below (unlimited food, drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, snacks, etc.), there are bars everywhere even in the pool, plus snack bars, so you will never go hungry during the day.

Rooms: 286-room resort scattered through polynesian-style cabins-bungalows. Rooms for disabled are available. Room sleeps two, but I can book other rooms for three or four, too. I can book time for you during the whole year, except for the major holidays. Advanced booking is required, though in main season, otherwise can be done with two-week notice or so. You will see international clientele there, Germans, Italians, Dutch, just name it. Kid-friendly place with babysitting service and kids' village to entertain them.

Prices for Playacar range from $ 65 to $ 75 per day per person (kids udner 10 stay for free), plus the rental fee. Still a bargain. Minimum stay is 3 nights, based on double occupancy and availability. Advanced booking is required.

Unit Description:
Your suite includes a double bed, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, mini kitchen, no stove, but coffee maker with instant coffee supplied. Rattan furniture, chairs, table, TV, telephone, spacious built-in cabinet for your clothes, ironing board, laundry bag, etc. Mini bar in small fridge containing beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. There is also complementary rum and whiskey in the room, as well as seasonal fruits supplied. You also have a spacious balkony or patio with a hammock at your disposal.

Nearby Attractions:
There are three huge pools, tennist courts, ping-pong tables, and a small gym on the premises. You can play beach volleyball, water polo, or tennis or you can join people on the beach participating in aerobic or dance classes and other activities during the day. You can do scuba-diving, parasailing, sailing, and go on excursions of your choice. There is ninghttime entertainment every day with talented young dancers and actors performing in spectacular shows. You can also dance in their disco until the wee hours, it is great fun.

Nearby Restaurants:
There are three restaurants on the premises, Italian, Mexican and a Grill, besides the regular buffet and the buffet on the beach serving fabulous sea food every day. There are countless golf courses nearby, shopping center across the street, and you can walk to Playa del Carmen on the beach and do shopping there in numerous well-stocked stores. Prices are very reasonable there (a margarita costs you $ 3 and is fabulous). The surrounding area is very safe, taxis are at the resort gate waiting for you to take you to town.
