Hol Chan is a Mayan word meaning small cut or narrow channel, in the reef. This area has been designated a Marine Reserve for over 18 years, and as such is home to a huge variety of healthy corals and colorful tropical fish. This is your first stop on a 2-stop trip. The second stop is a Shark Ray Alley, also part of the Marine Reserve. Here you can get up close and personal with Southern Stingray and Nurse Sharks, which over the years have become accustomed to fishermen cleaning their catch and throwing the remains overboard, thereby giving them an easy meal. The trip leaves the resort’s dock at 8:00am or 9:00am and 1:00pm or 2:00pm in the afternoon returns. (Mask and fins & GST NOT INCLUDED)

Goff’s Caye Manatee:-800a.m. – 400p.m.Make your way along many of the Cayes that dot Belize’s coast. View the endangered West Indian Manatee in its natural habitat. At Goff’s Caye you have time to snorkel off the beaches while your guide prepare a wonderful BBQ for you. Next it is snorkel with the sharks and rays. Finally we stop at Caye Caulker before we return to Ambergris Caye.

6:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. One of the most popular and memorable tours available from San Pedro! A full day of adventure take you to the mainland, then on a jungle river up the old Northern River to the beautiful villa of ‘Bomba’ – an excellent place for gorgeous Zericote wood carvings. From there, enjoy seeing the diverse Belizean countryside and local village s as you travel along the unspoiled Pan American Highway to Orange Walk. Here you will resume your jungle river ride and your guide will enthrall you with a narrated river tour of the varied bird-life and native flora. Along the way you will see a Mennonite settlement that live without modern conveniences according to their traditions. Upon arrival at the Mayan citadel of Lamanai, noted as one of the largest Mayan Ceremonial centers in Belize, you can visit the museum, take in the spectacular panoramic vie of the lush jungle, the Maya Mountains and the New River Lagoon, and photograph intricate Mayan carvings. The jungle walk will bring you to all the temples on the site and you are also sure to have the opportunity to see native wildlife such as howler moneys and toucans. Includes light breakfast , lunch, drinks and beer.

6:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. A thrilling experience awaits those who take this tour. First, an exciting boat ride to Belize City where you will take a mini bus for a just ride beyond the city to the Jungle. Walking through the jungle, your guide will teach you about the native flora and fauna. You will then have a relaxing ride downstream, as your personal inner tube floats you towards Belize’s massive underground cave system. Your headlight will illuminate the spectacular caves and fantastic stalactites and stalagmites. After this refreshing ride in cool, clear waters, you will enjoy a local lunch before heading to the Belize Zoo. Here you will se many of the native animals of Belize in natural style enclosures, including jaguar, puma, tapir, coatimundi, howler monkeys and a wide variety of birds.
