Resort Description:
The Crane has expanded tremendously over the last few years from the original 18 rooms in the historic hotel to the current total of 174 rooms and residences with another 28 coming on stream in May ‘07.

The Crane opened its new one and a half acre cascading pool complex in a spectacular setting against the rugged cliff and sea. Offering fabulous views from several different pool decks, three free-form pools are set into the cliff side connected by waterfalls, one falling fifteen feet to a seating area under the waterfall below. A historic stable ruin has been carefully restored and has just been opened as our new Carriage House Pool Bar. Also redeveloped is Cliff Cot, an old, coral limestone beach house that sits directly on the cliff with 180 degree views of the ocean. With framed, open windows, Cliff Cot now houses a large hot tub, seating up to 20, and a beautiful wooden deck for lounging and sunbathing. A fourth infinity edge pool sits between the two restored ruins and features spectacular views of both the resort and the sea, backed by a Koi fish pond and another cascading waterfall.
