The resort itself is known as the only resort in SA built 25 meters into the sea. The walks on the beach are breath taking, with seagulls and the sound of braking waves echoing with every foot print you leave, not forgetting the spectacular mountain ranges.

The restaurant in the same building has a beautiful ocean-view setting, and the food is not only delicious, but plentiful! The speciality is seafood and we enjoyed local Kingklip as well as local lobster.

The town is called the Strand, near Gordon's Bay and Somerset West, 30 kilometers from the airport and 47 kilometers from our Mother City, Cape Town, South Africa.

I have two weeks booked at the resort, week 31(8/1/08 - 8/8/08) and week 32(8/8/08 - 8/15/08). Both these weeks are for rent, at $400.00 per week.
