This is the most popular resort in Las Vegas. It is only 50 yards from the South Point Casino, the fastest growing casino on Las Vegas Blvd (The Strip). South Point is adding 850 new rooms, and has the largest equestrian center in Las Vegas. There is shuttle service to the huge Las Vegas Mall, with over 150 high end shops. The very expensive casinos are only 3-4 miles away, north of the South Point. There is golf at many close by golf courses. There is fishing and sightseeing at Hoover Dam, both only about an hour drive. Snow skiing in the winter is also only an hour away. There is a lovely waterfall at one of the swimming pools. A kiddie pool and hot tub also available, as well a snack bar at the pool. In the evening, you can walk to headline shows and gambling, and not worry about traffic, parking nor driving tickets (Las Vegas police are really tough on drunken drivers). This is a great family resort. The two bedroom lock out units can provide accommodations for 8 people in two king size beds, and two pull out sofa beds. However, you don't have to take both units, due to the lock-out feature. You can rent or buy just one unit for half the price listed above. Right now, in the two new Grandview units being built, the same 2 bed room lockout sells for $39,000, so the sales price is below market.
