This week overlaps with Hot August Nights, Reno’s premier fun event celebrating the coolest cars and greatest music from the 50’s and 60’s. The 2008 event runs from August 2-10, so this rental has you covered for 7 of the 8 days.

Thunderbird Resort Club is a townhouse complex with a swimming pool and whirlpool. The resort is surrounded by many attractions including nightclubs, stage shows, and casinos. The resort is very close to downtown Reno and an 18-hole golf course. Just two blocks away is the newly opened Sparks Marina which offers two swimming beaches, sand volleyball courts, picnic areas and gazebos, a playground, a lighted trail system, a lake stocked with trout, and sailing lessons! The Sierra Nevada Mountains are only half hour’s drive away, where you can overlook the spectacular Lake Tahoe at Squaw Valley, California. Great hunting, fishing, sailing, scuba diving, and horseback riding are nearby. The resort also has a pool and spa, fitness center, full service salon and day spa, clubhouse, game room, barbeques, and sports facilities. While this rental is being offered privately, the resort is affiliated with Interval International (II), one of the top two resort exchange companies in North America.

This is a 1-bedroom 1-bathroom unit that sleeps 4 people. It has a full kitchen, air conditioning, telephone, and a TV with VCR. Video borrowing privileges are available on site.

I will fax a rental agreement to you to be signed. Payment is via Paypal or money order. Upon receipt of your payment, I will call the resort and fax them a letter notifying them that you will be renting the unit for that week. I will also fax you a copy of the letter to take with you when you go to the resort. You may then also call the resort yourself to confirm that the reservation is in your name.

The 2008 week is no longer available, only the week for 2009.
