Shawnee is a great family resort located in the Poconos and adjacent to the Delaware river. The unit is a two-story townhouse, with bedrooms on one level and living quarters on a second level. It is tastefully furnished and comes complete with living room, dining area, kitchen, two baths. Indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, miniature golf, rafting and tubing on the Delaware river, a snack bar, a restaurant, a gym and more are all part of the resort. Supervised activities for children and teenagers at the recreation center and in the pools and gym give parents a chance to enjoy the many sports without being constantly on childcare duty.
The surrounding area offers mountains and lakes and State parks, a fine beach for swimming in the Delaware river, and the nearby town of Stroudsburg for shopping and dinining.
This unit is located in River Village II, one of the newer areas of this three-star RCI Hospitality Resort.
