Vail Mountain is a mere ten minutes from The Christie Lodge. Vail is the largest ski area in the United States. Vail and Beaver Creek both offer a wide variety of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.

Also, you may enjoy any of the following activities during your stay: ski or snowboard school, cross country skiing, horse-drawm sleigh rides, horseback riding, snow shoeing, wildlife tours, ice skating, dog sledding, snow catting and, one of our favorites - snowmobile tours! We just love a vista from above treeline on a snowmobile.

Local (Vail and Beaver Creek) playschools provide quality day care for 2 mo to 6 mo year olds. Reservations recommended.
