Located at The Marina where the PaddleWheel docks. Directly up Ski Run Blvd is Heavenly Valley Ski Resort, but busses will transport you to Heavenly, Kirkwood or Sierra Tahoe, and you can drive to Diamond Peak, Homewood, Alpine or Squaw.
Want some night time excitement, right down the road is Stateline, where you have Harrahs, Harveys, Horizons or Mont Bleu casinos to choose from. A Casino Shuttle is available for just $2.
Think you have to try a big city for more fun, you can drive to Reno or Carson City in no time. (not that they are more fun... Tahoe has it all!)
LTVR was known as Embassy Vacation Resort and is an absolutely fantastic place to stay.
Indoor-Outdoor Pool, Spas, Sauna, Pool Table and Games, Kids Area... so much to do in such a little time.
The On-site bar and restaurant are great, but there are plenty of fine dining establishments nearby, and some great Hole-In-The-Wall spots to chance in to.
This is completely based on points, so a 2 night stay in a studio can be $75, 1 bedroom $125, or 2 bedroom lockout $300.
Well worth the price and many of my renters have returned over and over again!
Recent example has 3 nights in a 2 bedroom, including Saturday for $325, 1 bedroom same nights for $175.
Major holidays and high season get booked quickly, and deals are hard to come by at times, but are available.
