General Description:
A beautiful resort in historic Willaimsburg,Virginia. Yorktown and Jamestown, are nearby . Jamestown just celebrated it's 400 year anniversary in 2007. This is where our country was founded. The Jamestown settlement is there as well as a glass house where you can watch as glass is blown and shaped into different shapes and sizes. A great place to visit and take your children for a history lesson about the founding of our country. The James river is nearby as is Busch Gardens an amusement/theme park, the college of William and Mary, and great shopping as well as outlet malls. Or you can just stay at the resort and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere. Historic Williamsburg is where volunteers dress up and re-enact the days of old, so that one can understand a little better what life was like back then.
