After a briefing at the marina, you are ready to begin your boating adventure down the St. Johns River. As you maneuver down the river, take in the rich variety of flora and fauna. A keen eye can spot well camouflaged alligators basking along the banks, and exotic birds in the canopy above. Another great, relaxing pastime while on your boat is fishing for bass, gar, and river catfish.

Visit the clear 72-degree waters of Blue Springs State Park, and Silver Glen Springs State Park. These freshwater springs are not only scenic, but make great swimming and snorkeling holes. In winter months, Blue Springs has also been known to harbor rare manatees.
