Perfect SUNDAY checkin/out at this Gold Crown Resort avoids the heavy Saturday traffic in/out of the Outer Banks, Rt 95, Rt 64, Rt 158.

Constructed in 2005 this almost new Barrier Island style house (duplex-2 units per building) has 4 bedrooms! Comfortably sleeping up to 10, living room, dining room, kitchen, BBQ grill, picnic table and outside shower right outside your door. 2 sun decks.

Master bedroom has a king, bedrm #2 and #3 have queen size, with the 4th bedroom upstairs with 2 twin beds. Sleeper sofa in living room sleeps 2 extra if you need to sleep up to 10 people. There is also a huge walkin closet upstairs for luggage storage. 5 tv's total; 1 in each bedroom and a 5th in the living room.

This unit is like a separate house (almost) as only 2 units per building! This is a new building, new furnishings, appliances, etc. (completed just 2 years ago.) This is the top floor unit. Parking right outside your door. Bright unit, out in open, nice views of towering pine trees, with wild vines climbing them, and butterflies all about as resort is in a natural setting, one of the last remaining maritime forests. Great to stay cool during the hot southern summer! Beach is just a mile away, and your're back in the bright sunshine, and hubbub of the busy Outer Banks. But where you sleep? Aahhhh--a cooler, quieter, and refreshing retreat from the hubbub of the day out. While it is nice to stay oceanfront, none of the other resorts on the Outer Banks have these many amenities or activities. And trying to sleep while listening to fireworks late into the night can be trying. RCI Gold Crown resort.


Full modern fitness center on site with cardio, weights, heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, and separate mens and ladies steam rooms, saunas, and locker rooms with showers. Massage appointments available for additional fee. Olympic outdoor pool, set up in such a way you never feel crowded. Games room. 4 Basketball court. Lots of tennis courts. The Onsite walking and bicycle paths, and bicycles available right from the Office onsite. Pond on site for fishing (stocked.) Gated resort so can let kids roam free without worry. Family atmosphere. Activities for different age groups with onsite activities function. Beach has private parking lot for owners/guests only.

Right in the middle of where all the action is on the Outer Banks. EVERYTHING is nearby, just at most 10 miles one direction or the other. Lifeguarded beach is gorgeous, sandy, and uncrowded compared to more northern beaches, and resort has a private parking lot for owners/guests only.

References available via email or telephone numbers, as I've been renting my weeks for 20+ years and have repeat families. I plan on renting out this unit each year, so you could find THE place to come back to year after year with your group! Remember this resort and unit has it all - just bring the family! If you are looking for a place to be at the beach every year I rent this unit every year! Also, if you come back to the beach in the off season and stay elsewhere I will allow you a guest pass for 'day use' of the amenities at this resort, up to next summer.
